Allows employers to sponsor skilled workers to fill positions they cannot find a suitably qualified Australian to fill.
Eligibility Requirements
Sponsored by an approved Australian standard business sponsor.
Nominated occupation appears on the relevant eligible skilled occupation list.
Relevant skills, qualifications and experience for the nominated occupation, including any mandatory licensing or registration.
Meet the minimum relevant work experience required for the stream.
Meet the applicable stream's salary/income threshold.
English language proficiency (unless exempt).
Meet health and character requirements.
